It's a drag, not being able to take pictures. I probably could if I were working with an old manual film camera (which is probably enough reason to bring my AE-1 out of retirement), but I'm not risking the effects of rainwater on a DSLR. On top of all that, I've been working long hours the past few weeks, and most of my friends now have important obligations on weeknights. When I do take pictures, it usually means I do so alone. I work best when with company; I can't really explain it. Having someone along kind of breaks the tension for me, and gets my creative juices pumping.
On the good news side of things, that pesky dust spot that popped up in most of my new photos has been eliminated. Of course, I get rid of it on a day I can't go out and make use of it. Just my luck.
